If you want to learn how to casper slide on a skateboard, start slow or still, gradually speeding up to the slide. Set up like you are going to do a kickflip, pop, and flip it. Catch the board just as it finishes the first half of the flip, with your front food under the board and the back foot on the tail of the board. Do not allow your front food to hit the ground. Hold the board up with your front foot, and if there is enough speed, balance a slide, half flip out and land. This can take some time to master, but once you do it is open to a lot of variations.

Learning how to do an ollie on a skateboard is relatively easy. Start with your rear foot on the tail and your front food near the middle of the board. Put the ball of your back foot in the middle so that you can feel the pressure when you push the tail down, and put your front food straight across the board. Push down as fast as you can with the back foot so all of your weigh is on the tail. Your board will want to go up. You can then hit the tail on the ground, jumping with the rear foot while the front foot slides up. Dragging your foot will cause the board to come up at the same time.

Learning how to do a kickflip on a skateboard is another basic trick. Put your back foot on the tail and your front food under the bolts at a slight slant. Bend your knees while you pop your board. Flick your front foot on the tip of the board to make it flip; suck your legs up for the catch, and land.
